He is too protected, and over hyped. I saw him fight last year on the undercard of pac mans fight in san antonio and the people were more happy seeing SR. than him. When he fights someone good, he will lose. Alfonso Gomez has been calling him out, lets get it on!

He's protected but has fought some tough opponets/name so he's passed those test. But Arum should at least start putting him in with fighters we know. And him fighting on ppv is ******.

He's overhyped living off the road his dad paved for him.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. isnt what the promoters want you to believe he is.

He shouldnt be fighting as a headline on PPV cards (especially against guys he's clearly better than).

Its a scam...pay $30 for him to fight what would be the equivilant of a tune-up fight.

I dont buy his PPV's and you shouldnt probably buy them either.

it's better to just watch it on sopcast.

Maybe one day he will be worth the ppv's he's all charging us for but as of now i say no.

Chavez has beaten everyone he's fought and I'm not impressed. Then again like you said he's a prospect.
