Floyds a amazing fighter with the right skills to be up there with the best of them. But until he fights, cotto and marg, he's just a great fighter. All time greats are remembered throughout history, whos going to remember or care about floyd in 30 years? He has not been involved in 1 fight that could be shown on classics.

Prime Sugar Ray Leonard would beat Floyd Mayweather Jr and Sr, on the same night.

i suppose you mean Calzaghe not Kessler,i don't know who will win both fighters are great but hopkins were there with more bigger fighters than calzaghe and remember hopkins is a dirty fighter but once i don't know who will win,if it goes a distance i think it would be calzaghe but if it ko i think it hopkins.

what happens when he beats cotto... who else will he have to fight then?

what will people say... they will forever put him against fighters from the past years to try and bring his legacy down.

He will beat Cotto on points. win the fight... and have people saying "Well if he would have slugged with cotto he would have lost"

this is boxing not Slugfest night/iron ring / or ufc.

a good point, i don't know why people always put fighters from the past to compare with today's fighters.you know nobody knows who will win till this fight happen how could you say if SRL will beat PBF or Duran will beat PBF if they never fought and never will be it is your opinion but once again it is rudiculous to compare fighters from the past to today's boxers cause boxing improved since that time.the only thing that we can claim it who is greater not who will win but who is greater for me SRL greater than PBF for now cause he fought and won more greater fighters than floyd but floyd didn't retired yet he has 3 -2 good fights in front of him and then when he retires we can say who was greater but not who will win.

umm Hopkins is 43 years old.
