Floyd would beat leonard and duran on any givin day...lol...funniest **** I have heard all morning.

Judging by the consensus on this board, you have to beat atg's to be a atg...floyds biggest name is oscar, hardly an atg. Hell, calzaghe is fighting hopkins, floyds never fought anybody of that calibre. As for cotto he's just basically beat the guys floyd has beat but gets more credit for it. Get the fight made already......Floyd by decision.

Calzaghe p4p number 1 after saturday.

he has the skills to do so but i kind of find it hard to believe that he could beat duran or leonard. past prime duran beat iran barkley and past prime leonard was able to fight at middleweight and super middleweight.

we'll have to wait and see. floyd has shown no weakness as of right now as he gets older we'll see how his chin and heart is......since no one has been even come close to challenging mayweather......and NO castillo did NOT beat him in the 1st fight.
Leonard would own that ass in Dancing with the Stars.

And Leonard was naturally bigger, so you could argue that Floyd does now what Leonard did late in his career.

So P4P you think Hopkins is better than Floyd?

And you feel that Calzaghe losing to a 43 year old Hopkins will make him P4P nr 1?

            I would laugh, but I can't.

Who's floyd beat with the calibre of Hopkins? Floyds beat alot of good fighters, never an all time great. I might be wrong but the common consensus on this board is, to be a great, you have to beat greats. After saturday joe will have 1 great on his record while floyd will have 0.

so you want to say that hopkins beat trinidad,de la hoya and winky, all these guys are smaller than hopkins the guys that floyd beat were bigger than him besides hatton.

Trinidad Oscar and Winky is like Morales Pacman and Barrera jumping to welter and fighting Floyd now , Im sure Floyd would stop all three , the weight juggling games is a big deal at this level ,, nobody smaller than Floyd could beat him .

i don't think that trinidad and winky could make 147,i doubt about it look at them they too big for ww maybe de la hoya can but not trinidad and winky.and so de la hoya wouldn't fight floyd at 147 he wants the advantage the weight if they fight in september the bout will be at catch category 150.
with this argument "nobody smaller than Floyd could beat him" i agree with you.

I ment them 3 fighting Bhop is like Pacman and co fighting Floyd , all three were a lot smaller than Hopkins , but they were all elite fighters and all good wins just they were a little small , by the same token I reckon Hopkins would beat Kessler in a mugging , there is intangibles on both sides of this fight that makes it so intriguing .
