lol he's still pissed off about the booing of the US national anthem? So that's disrespectful but saying "I'll never lose to a white person", isn't?

Not a leg to stand on.

america is huge ompared to the UK yet england has the best cruiserweight, the best junior welterweight and the best super middleweight.

america blows its fighters out of proportion masks they're weaknesses and makes them out to be better than they actually are - trinidad, tyson, lacey you could even add hopkins to that group etc

I'm losing respect for Hopkins because of this. If he's "better" because he's American, he better prove it on Saturday.

trinidad is american? I wonder why he never learned how to speak english. thats weird.

and american commentators/analysts for the most part aren't nationalistic in boxing. I will say that they are more racist if anything. I could bet anything that all of the white american commentators/analysts will be pulling for calzaghe to win even if they don't say it. white americans identify with calzaghe more than hopkins.

exactly!!! he's doing this to generate interest in the fight from the "casual" boxing fans. ppl are getting overly sensitive about this ****, and this is what hopkins wants. the more that tune in, the better, whether u cheer for hopkins or not.............

this **** is going to be crazy saturday!!!!! like the mayweather-hatton fight..............i was the only mayweather fan, i'm going to the same sprts bar i went to last time, and i can bet i'll be the only hopkins fan too.

                      i'm luvin it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

like the mayweather fight, the look on white ppl's face when hopkins wins saturday- PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                      no offense!
