Joe knew Floyd would knock Ricky out but he said rubbish, same with Haye and now everyone isnt giving Benard a chance.
Are all these people serious or they are taking the piss?

The only people I have found to talk sense are Witter and Lewis, the rest of these boxers I dont listen to their opinion, sounds more like politics than proper analysis
Haye was a guest presenter for the UK showing of Hatton-Mayweather and he picked Mayweather to win.....

      yeah i agree

and Calzaghe does'nt have to put his foot to the flaw to be more active than B Hop and take unnecessary chances to get countered

all he has to do is be more active throughout the rounds than Hopkins which is not gonna require him to throw a 100 punches a round or something silly like that

Jermain Taylor threw next to nothing in both his fights with Hopkins but he was still more active than Hopkins

Even if he was slowed to crawl he has more heart, power, grit and determination than what I've ever seen from Bernard.

Bernard could conceivably win a real ugly fight where the real JC doesn't turn up on the night and he fluffs it, gets himself countered all night and lose a tight decision. But that JC for me hasn't existed since the poor show with Robin Reid. JC will more than likley turn up, more fired up than ever and give Bernard a complete pasting, but JC would not get stopped by B-hop in a million and one years, he has a chin like granite and 43yr old Bernard has no puff left to put together any kind of attack that would have JC wobbled!

The advantage Joe has is workrate/punchout. Every pro JC fan thinks his workrate or being too busy is gonna win it for him, including Joe himself.

BHOP will take this advantage away, he always takes away his opponents advantage or weapon. How will he do this?

          1. First, Joe finds his range with his jab, Bernard will take his jab away and that will take Joe's range.

          2. FOOTWORK, BHOP has elite footwork and will stay in the center mostly and never be a target for Joe to let his hands go.

          3. BHOP will smother Joe by moving forward, not backwards like most. He will then spin Joe, and "roll" Joe. Like he did Tarver. Watch how he smothered DLH workrate by moving forward (by the way, DLH has faster hands than Joe)

          4. Headmovement. BHOP will slip and duck, using his shoulders to protect himself we he comes up.

          5. Defense, BHOP maybe has the best defense in the game, techically his blocking and parrying is really special.

BHOP will cut Joe's workrate down to 25%. After round 6 Joe will become very frustrated and start seeing things he never has before, taking shots he never has taken. By round 9 he will decide to survive or go for it. If he decides to go for it, he will get stopped. So my Question to JC fans, if (as I think) Joe's workrate is taken away by BHOP, how can Joe win?
Hopkins isn't going to win this one easy.... Hopkins could win it ugly though but I think Calzaghe will win by a close split decision... close enough that Hopkins can cry about getting robbed.

Just run that by me again.....Joe doesnt really use a jab to find hid range a lot of the time he just uses flurries. Also you failed to mention anything about how Bernard will do it.

Also joe has more than a high workrate.......

People tend to forget what Taylor did to Hopkins, he made Hopkins overly defensive. Calzaghe can do the same IMO.
