BHOP will win EASY, Q for JC fans

BHOP has the advantage technically he is better in everyway.

The advantage Joe has is workrate/punchout. Every pro JC fan thinks his workrate or being too busy is gonna win it for him, including Joe himself.

BHOP will take this advantage away, he always takes away his opponents advantage or weapon. How will he do this?

    1. First, Joe finds his range with his jab, Bernard will take his jab away and that will take Joe's range.

    2. FOOTWORK, BHOP has elite footwork and will stay in the center mostly and never be a target for Joe to let his hands go.

    3. BHOP will smother Joe by moving forward, not backwards like most. He will then spin Joe, and "roll" Joe. Like he did Tarver. Watch how he smothered DLH workrate by moving forward (by the way, DLH has faster hands than Joe)

    4. Headmovement. BHOP will slip and duck, using his shoulders to protect himself we he comes up.

    5. Defense, BHOP maybe has the best defense in the game, techically his blocking and parrying is really special.

BHOP will cut Joe's workrate down to 25%. After round 6 Joe will become very frustrated and start seeing things he never has before, taking shots he never has taken. By round 9 he will decide to survive or go for it. If he decides to go for it, he will get stopped. So my Question to JC fans, if (as I think) Joe's workrate is taken away by BHOP, how can Joe win?

Joe has more than just a high work rate. Much more. It's kinda silly to under-estimate Joe Calzaghe bro, no disrespect.

Damn, when you put it that way, Joe is seriously overmatched here.

Of course, that will just make it even crazier when he wins!

I dont understant English fans' lack of objectivity.
Even when their fighters talk,do they speak their minds or are they supposed to say things that please some folks.
Joe knew Floyd would knock Ricky out but he said rubbish, same with Haye and now everyone isnt giving Benard a chance.
Are all these people serious or they are taking the piss?

The only people I have found to talk sense are Witter and Lewis, the rest of these boxers I dont listen to their opinion, sounds more like politics than proper analysis

Calzaghe is not just about workrate. He has other strengths as well, he's a very good boxer with good foot movement, I do think his workrate is what will win him the fight, but if Hopkins neutralizes that somehow, I think Calzaghe has other plans.

You said more than... please be specific. By the way, it is BHOP who is being underestimated.

Joe Calzaghe has excellent counters, you should have noticed that against kessler

Better counters than BHOP? BHOP has incredible timed counters. Technically much better than JC. JC isn't a counter puncher really his offense is his defense so I don't really understand your point. Secondly, how is that going to win him the fight?

as a hopkins fan, calzaghe is a tough ass customer, even hopkins and his team knows it, but they're going to be prepared, no doubt.

there is one thing that was touched on lightly, which i have been telling people, some disagree and some don't really have a clue, but it was spoken by the thread starter about calzaghe finding range or needing range. that is what i was saying to people, every calzaghe fight i've seen and the kessler fight that i went to, everyone that calzaghe fights stays in his range and lets him tee off, maybe they think that he's only going to throw a few punches and stop, when he doesn't, but no one gets out of his range, hopkins isnt going to stay in his range to let calzaghe tee off, he's either going to move out of his range or he's going to come in and smother.
now calzaghe is a good inside fighter, hopkins is too, but one thing i do know about hopkins is that he knows how to neutralize a fighters punch output on the inside and makes it hard for fighters staying on the outside out of their range............

it's going to be a rough and tumble fight, a hard fought physical chess match.............which i see hopkins winning.........gotta love the underdog..........

BHOP will cut Joe's workrate down to 25%.
That's still five times more punches than Hopkins throws.
