Ya know?! When you have Calderon saying that he is further accessing things based on how fast and strong Cotto looked this weekend, you can take all that internet self congratulatory back slapping and put it where the sun don't shine.

Too many clowns were acting like that's what they expected. Ivan knows Miguel like a mug too.. I'm saying.. Cotto is coming out of nowhere with this ****. The FRONTING is pathetic. Suckas.

i agree with all three of the comments and point out that slow fighters actually give cotto easier fights, similar to the abduhlaya fight.ive been saying for a while now that both cintron and margarito were overrated.and in there last rematch fight i actually lost respect for both even more.remember that after the first round margarito had a cut and looked like a tomatoe.whats he gonna look when cotto puts his hands on him,and margarito realizes that hes too slow to put his hands on cotto?..........ill tell u. alot of non knowledgable fans realizing how much they just dont know chiitt about boxing.

Thanx for such an insightful post...biased, much? LOL go back to your cave troll and let the real adults discuss boxing in here.

Of course all those three are gonna pick Cotto, they are all Rican you dumb ****, use some plain and basic common sense will ya? Same goes to Margarito if they were to ask 3 Mexican trainers or boxers who will be the favorite in that fight. What's to lose respect about either fighter in that fight? I don't get this, are you a boxing fan or not? what didn't you like about this fight that failed the inspection of your douchebag seal of approval?

The cut over by the eye of Tony looked like it was caused most likely by a headbutt or an elbow, I saw Cintron try a couple of dirty tricks that night against Tony. You are the one who doesn't know **** about boxing, almighty fool.

I agree with all the statements. The 1st thing I mentioned the night of the fights was that Cotto will be too fast and pick off Margarito. Also the height does give the advantage to Cotto considering Margarito doesn't ever use his reach since he likes going inside...where Cotto is a beast at throwin the left hook to the body.

Regardless it's an intriguing fight and definitely one of the best action packed fights that can be made.

That being said, Cotto will win by late stoppage or UD (leaning toward KO though)

They're both tough, and Cotto will beat Margarito to the punch everytime. The height will serve to make a bigger target for Cotto. Margarito won't use his height to an advantage and it will ultimately hamper him inside. I think it will be awesome, but I think Cotto will win. I wouldn't be surprised if this one ended with a body punch.

Lol.. Ima laugh when Cotto outboxes Tony.

              Boxer Vs Puncher.

Cotto has more boxing skills than Tony. We all know the Boxer vs Puncher outcome. Cotto can punch too. Tony can change the fight any time, but what I hate is how when a fighter is hurt once in their life, people critisize the **** out of them (Ex: Cotto's chin, Cintron's heart, JMM's chin) People talk all that **** about their downfalls, but seem to forget their dominant assets in which they can overcome the toughest competition if they utilize a dominant plan come fight night.

Ya ni99as need to wake the **** up.

Am just picking Margarito by a slim margin at the moment, I might change my mind when the fight gets nearer but at the moment i thing margarito draws Cotto into a WAR which is where he gets too comfortable.. Cintron tried to Box Margarito but he had NO choice because Margarito draws him into a war and he crumbled.

Even though am not comparing Cintron to Cotto i just think Margarito is a true warrior.

Ya'll remember Kelson Pinto? Yeah, he is just as tall as Tony and most people, including Emanuel Steward, thought that the hight would be a problem for Cotto. He proved them wrong. Why? Because Kelson never used his height to fight tall. Kelson chose to brawl, just what Margarito is going to do. The height advantage gets nullified and actually passes to be Cotto's advantage because there is more torso to hit.

I'm not predicting Cotto by a landslide and this is his toughest match (yes, even tougher than Mosley). However, I can see how Cotto can use his handspeed and counterpunching abilities to win this fight, especially if Margarito doesn't fight tall. And, as I've said before, the accumulation of body punches might take their toll and he might win by KO. Margo isn't "unknockoutable" as some of you have said (Santos almost KO'd him four times in their second fight).

Edit: actually, the more I think about it, the more advantage I give to Cotto. He's able to throw good, solid combinations and move to the side fast enough to where Margarito might not be able to get off on him as much as he'd like. I think Cotto builds a lead in the first 3-4 rounds that Margo will not be able to make up for. Cotto by UD.

Pinto doesnt compare to Margarito for me, Pinto was unproven at the time while cotto was an up and comer at that time, Now we have two dangerous experience fighter. Cotto has the advantage to box but he isnt smart enough to just stick to boxing or potshot, Cotto has too much pride and would fight Maragrito at his own game. Thats where i see the advantage going over to Margarito.
