Calzaghe looks like he's fallen into the trap.... Every opportunity he's had this week he's been trash talking... This close to the biggest fight in your career you need to be focused and concentrating on one thing only....

I'm on the wall on this one, as it can go either way... but I think by about round 3 we'll know who's taking it.

Totally agree with deuce drop, Frank Warren has been doing this for years... but 2008 hasn't been a good year for him up to now so maybe it's the changing of the times....

I agree that pound for pound De La Hoya and Trinidad were better than Lacy and Kessler. But Lacy or Kessler would destroy both of those guys because they are teeny tiny people. That's why Hopkins managed to beat them so bad.

And if the three best wins on your record are against guys who were most comfortable at a much much lower weight then it's tough to use them as a shining example of legendhood. If Hopkins ever managed to beat RJJ or if he had won the rematch with Taylor then I might be happy to call his resume legendary.

Terry Marsh and Sven Ottke aren't.
Ahahaha, I hardly think that Terry Marsh or Sven Ottke's records are in any way comparable to Calzaghe. Its an insult to boxing to claim that Ottke is 'undefeated' too. You're smarter than that. Not much...but you are.

Lacy was only "hyped up" because you wouldn't recognise Calzaghe's annihilation of a decent fighter. "Calzaghe won huh?!... oh... something must be wrong with Lacy then..."
Mickey, get with it. These days it's fashionable to say you always knew Lacy was a hypejob.

I was thinking the same thing as you. I know that Cal is ****y but it seems Hopkins has him really irritated. He's insulting hopkins it seems every chance he gets. With that said his Kessler win was very impressive though & to me he gets all the credit in the world for that one. I thought his Kessler performance eclipsed the Lacy one because Kessler is a better fighter.
