Undisputed super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe has lashed out at his April 19 opponent, Bernard Hopkins, and is tired of Hopkins considering himself a legend. Calzaghe told The Telegraph that Hopkins is nothing more than a B-side fighter who needs a big name to sell a fight because he's not able to sell a fight on his own. [details]

Sugar Ray Robinson and Roberto Duran have about 100 losses between them.
No undefeated fighter in history is a legend, bar Rocky Marciano.
Terry Marsh and Sven Ottke aren't. -
What is joe talking about how many losses did ali have? Everyone can see bernard got joes blood boiling, haven't we seen this before? He's fallen for the trap set by hopkins.Jeff Lacy and mikkel kessler are the best fighters he's beaten he's been protected his whole career. He'll be exposed this weekend.Just my opinion.Comment

What are those guys drinking over there in the UK? The record comparison should not even spew from zaghe's mouth. Other than a hyped up lacy he hasn't fought any other top contender, world class not UK class. Dont leave planet hollywood with an L zaghe. u do and the whole state of uk boxing is over! UK step the **** up or Shut the **** Up!Comment

frank warren match making criteria is match his star fighters with young guys that aren't ready for the championship level, or older guys that are on their way out. calzaghe is really no different, i'm not taking away from calzaghe's accomplishments, he has come out on top in all of his challenges, there is no denying that, but the fact is that he's been matched with guys that he's supposed to beat, he's always been the favorite, well about 98% of the time, and the two times that people thought that calzaghe would be challenged, those two fighters fall into that first category of not being ready yet, and i don't give two ****s what people say about lacy, i said from the get go that lacy only had a punchers chance, nothing more.............and kessler got outboxed fair and square, he wasn't ready for that level of fighter yet..........kessler fought hard but the experience level was the factor and the versatility of calzaghe.
hopkins is a completely different beast, now, the only thing that is of concern is that hopkins could easily fall into the second category, being the old guu on the way out, I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK THAT, but lets face it, anything can happen in boxing, and that anything i'm thinking is going to be hopkins winning the fight in a rough and tumble scrap...........Comment

LoL "hyped up Lacy"
And whom was he hyped up by? The same people in here who think B-Hop is going to destroy Calzone.
Lacy was only "hyped up" because you wouldn't recognise Calzaghe's annihilation of a decent fighter. "Calzaghe won huh?!... oh... something must be wrong with Lacy then..."Comment
