You were so impressed, that you were still intrigued to see how much he had left 13 months later. You knew deep down that a Hopkins-Wright fight couldn't be anything but a stinker, but one shove at the weigh-in changed all of that. All it took was Bernard to get in – and eventually mush – Wink's face for your stance on the fight to change from "thanks, I'll pass" to "Click OK to order this event for the asking price of 49.95."
Even as the entertainment value drops with each passing fight, Bernard Hopkins still finds ways to draw you in.

Whether it's Hopkins the fighter or Hopkins the salesman, he's still doing what he does best - making someone look foolish every time out.

..Give that man credit for "EARNING" his respect and rightfully so, with all the B.S that surrounds boxing, Hopkins did it "HIS" way.

pretty much............sometimes a slug fest is good every now and then, but real fight fans enjoy seeing a master ring technician do his thang. don't get me wrong, i luuuuuuuuvvvvv knockouts, but just as impressive is watching a guy punch the **** out of another guy, and the other guy can barely get a glove on him, and when he does, it's not a very clean shot.............

that is why hopkins will win this fight, he'll land all the cleaner, heavier shots, KO or no KO. i see something similar in ways to johnson-dawson, except hops won't get outboxed, and he won't chase joe, joe will be literally "walking into punches.............."
