    Cotto's new attitude??

so did any of yall notice cotto acting differently in his fight against gomez??
he seems to be alot more confident, actually ****y..
do u think this new attitude will benefit fit him in the future or will he set himself up for trouble??
granted he displayed this kind of behavior fighting an average fighter

That's why. People are over analyzing his "demeanor" in that fight way too much. He knew Gomez ******. It was a sparring session. When he fights Margarito and if he fights Mayweather you definitely won't be seeing that. He'll be zoned in for those fights. Just level of opposition is all.

Yer Cotto was just laying the smack down, wait until he fights Margarito and see how he acts then, it'll be different.

What the hell else is he supposed to do with himself while he waits for Gomez to gather himself. I don't think Cotto wanted to smash him inside of 2 rounds. That would make the whole fight look even worse.

that very well could be the plan...

be flamboyant and showing off on free HBO (not really free but not PPV) so the casual fans that turn on the fight take interest in him...

maybe thats why he did it...to raise his stock with casual fans to set up a fight for mayweather...

this could be his way of doing it.

I was surprised to see that ****yness too...i really didnt think he was going to do that; and to be honest it was kind of interesting to watch.
