    But that's debatable.

Glen Johnson has fought all top fighters with mixed success (would have fought Calzaghe as well), with better luck he could have wins over RJJ, Tarver, Woods, Ottke, Dawson and not have as many losses (if he got the all the close decisions go his way).

That would make him a HOFer for sure. I think he could still be, there are many guys in the HOF who have won some and lost some. Fritzie Zivic for example has over 60 losses (more than most today's boxers have fights!) but he also has many wins over great fighters.
    DO you know Pekka?

I've actually seen the Ottke-Johnson fight. Ottke actually genuinely won it, although it was quite close.

I like Johnson but lets be honest he got lucky (in the sense of right place right time) with a couple of wins otherwise he'd only be seen as a solid journeyman. He didn't even win against Dawson despite him being on a plate for him.

So far 11 people need to understand the definition of a resume, unless you're including fights you've lost in a resume.

The question wasn't resume but who was fought the better fighters. Read the first post.

Calzaghe's resume is obviously better but Glen Johnson has fought the better fighters.

I know there's somewhat of an anti-Glen Johnson movement now that many people are getting tired of hearing 'Glen was robbed!' over and over but you can't discredit the guy.
Glen has fought them all and he was willing to fight Calzaghe as well.

No one would be undefeated today if they all fought like Glen Johnson, against anybody, anywhere, anytime.

          DO you know Pekka?
That's like asking 'Do you know Jack?' from an American.

Pekka is one of the most used names in Finland. I do know Pekka but the problem is I know about a thousand Pekka's.

Ah yes, I saw resume elsewhere.

I like Johnson a lot. He has had a couple of bad decisions but a lot of his defeats were fair calls.

I agree he should have about 5 losses, i remember watching the ottke fight and thought Johnson won but i will have to rewatch it. watching him fight i cant see how he got lucky more unlucky if you ask me.

Sheika lost to Johnson but got a gift as did Ottke.
I saw Johnson's fight with Sheika, and Omar won..

Johnson lost to Dawson Saturday night, and lost the third fight with Woods. Your comments are based on being a Johnson nuthugger and your dislike of Calzaghe.

(I know why you don't like Joe - the same reason you don't like Wlad and Pavlik, right, Duffgun?).

This is true, if Calzaghe took all those fights right in other people's backyards he'd have lost by now. Ottke in Germany? Woods in England? I'm sure there is more of it but the guy just wanted to fight the best. It's financially silly and had questionable results for his resume but Glen Johnson is a lot better than the win column on his resume tells.
