Do you really think Cotto-Margarito is FOTY?

I mean i'm pumped for the fight and it could definiately be a candidate but no way in my opinion it matches Vasquez-Marquez 3 in my opinion, what dko you guys think?

Hasn't happened yet, so it's not good to judge, but it's certainly a candidate for a good fight. They're not in there against scrubs like Gomez and Cintron, so there's probably going to be a little less **** in this one.

1. Cotto will badly outbox Margarito like Clottey did.

it MAY be a candidate, but it all depends on Cotto's willingness to stand up to Margo. If Cotto takes risks, than its a certified FOTY candidate, if he rather be completely cautious to gaurantee a win, then it most likely be Mayweather/Baldomir.

I think Cotto is too economical and defensive-minded (I know that sounds insane, but we are talking about Vazquez and Marquez here).

I also kind of agree that it will likely be a dominant win by one or the other, depending on whether Margarito can get Cotto to stop and fight, or whether Cotto can keep his composure and use his superior technicianship and accuracy to win a decision.

Thats Margs ball park....I honestly think Margarito will walk through Cotto....I mean he laughed at Cintrons bombs who many think is the hardest hitting welter weight.

Cotto is 5-7.....Marg is almost 6-0...I have a bad feeling about this fight for Cotto.
