Well, the thing about the Hopkins-Calzaghe build-up was that everyone said that Hopkins had no chance of getting into Joe's head, he was too cool and calm, and I was one of the ones who believed that...

    ...until now.

The fact hat Joe keeps going out of his way to insult Hopkins means that he's gotten to him. Hopkins' demeanor, his talk about his "dream team", they've gotten inside Joe's head. Joe wants to keep telling himself that Hopkins has "no chance", but if you ask me, Joe's sloly but surely figuring out that he's got a HELL of a chance.
thats the same way i'm feeling

Hopkins will need a respirator. We'll all need one when we run out of breath laughing at Joe. Yes, he's been intimidated, and I don't think that he can pull out a win. However, he's a flashy puncher, so that may work in a Sugar Ray 30 second flurry way. My money's on B-Hop by late round KO.

Zaghe ain't doing nothing out of the ordinary, he's always the same and talks plenty of trash before previous fights. It's only words. Let 'em speak with their hands on Saturday.

Joe can't take Bernard lightly. Hopkins is an entirely different animal than anybody Joe's ever faced. How many 41 year olds (at the time) do you know who can go from 160lbs up to 175, still being the smaller man, and absolutely annihilate the top guy at Light Heavyweight and take his belt?

Most people point to the fight with Wright in disgust and talk about how ugly it was but what they don't realize is that's the way it had to be. Wright's defense is the best in the world in my opinion, and in order to beat him Hopkins had to make it that way.

He won't have to do that with Joe Calzaghe because unlike Wright, Calzaghe throws freely and often. So he won't have to create opportunities to counter with the right hand, Joe will present them on his own simply by fighting his normal style of fighting.

I got Hopkins by decision, but if he were able to knock out Joe I would literally jump out of my seat and through my ****ing roof in excitement.

He isn't! Man, I swear, the hype gets taken too far. That's all it is. These guys have to dramatize everything in order to sell tickets and get people talking. It's completely see-thru whether it's coming from Joe or Nard. In fact Nard takes the drama to another level with his mask and ****. This is entertainment man. Enjoy it.

Your calling him Zaghe now? I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he has a restraining order against you Stan.

it looks like Calzaghe is the one convincing himself that B-Hop doesn't stand a chance when deep down he knows he could be in a world of hurt..
