So using private messages to start threads is the thing to do now?? with that said, you acted like what was said is ridiculous, it sounds very logical to me.
The User The Bringer believes Hopkins will be robbed against Calzaghe.

I got you, but IMO it's not always true, the fans think like that, but not so much the judges, you could have sworn Ricky was beating PBF because of the crowd reaction and what the commentators were saying, but look at the judges scores, PBF was dominating. No, but there is a certain history with judges favoring workrate over countering ability in recent years. I think counterpunching is a lost art to most judges these days, I realize that is a broad statement but there are examples to the benefit of my argument.
I just want the fight to unfold as it should, with no open favoring by judges or the HBO commentary crew. Both guys have too much at stake for the broadcast team to try and sway fans at home towards "their guy".
Sadly HBO has a serious reputation for nuthugging one fighter over another, see Hatton/Mayweather for a most recent example of this.
If I hadn't had eyes, I would've sworn Ricky Hatton was beating the starch off of Mayweather in there.Comment

This is true as well. I jst hope that whoever wins the fight, wins the fight without dispute. It's no secret I personally am pulling for Hopkins 110%, he grew up in my City, not far from my own neighborhood and I really respect and admire him for his ability and talent.
The same way I'm sure Calzaghe's fans are pulling 110% for him to win.
Speaking of the crowd, I wonder who they'll lean towards? 50/50 maybe?Comment

After 4 rounds, Chambers was pitching a shutout. Looking at the punchstat numbers for the fight, it looked like Eddie still won, even with the rounds off. And his punches were clearly cleaner and harder.Comment

Yeah I remember it clearly, I lost 20K on Chambers to win that one against one of Povetkin's groupies, I still don't believe the hype around him.Comment

It's obvious Chambers is hype too, and I don't want to hear that crap that he just had an off night. I don't believe in such things in boxing.Comment

I'm not saying Chambers is the best Heavyweight out there, but on that night I think he was certainly better than Povetkin was.Comment
