Gatti vs PBF was more one sided because Gatti couldn't land crap. A punching bag would've landed the same amount of punches on PBF.
Power punch stats (non-jabs):
PBF 115 power punches
Gatti 10 power punches
BUT
Gomez vs Cotto was a worse physical beating and that was still with less rounds to play with his victim.

Cotto 125 power punches
Gomez 46 power punches
Not to mention Cotto's jab is pretty damn hard although not techinically counted as a power shot. Cotto landed 63 of his jabs (including a jab knock down).
