i give kahn a decent shot. he has the amatuer backround in the olymics to make up for his lack of pro experience and has been 12 rounds before with a former world champ gary st clair. he's young but not dumb and has gotten off the floor to win. the fight will only happen in england im sure witch is another plus for kahn. so all and all i give him a 50-50 shot against cambell who has been knocked out twice by robbe peden lets not forget. crazy **** happens come on.

          Khan in no ones league

Frank warren has done a good job so far with khan but khan has not been in there with anybody with good punching power with a good stoppage rate thats what makes me think khan is to protected.

Nate Campbell : Khan is nothing but a fraud

NATE CAMPBELL has launched an astonishing verbal attack on Amir Khan — labelling him a fraud with a suspect chin.

Khan, 21, was installed as the mandatory challenger for Campbell's WBO title following his win over Dane Martin Kristjansen.

And the world lightweight champion wants his next fight to be against the Bolton ace.

Campbell, a grandfather at 36, has watched Khan's career closely since he won the silver medal at the Athens Olympics.

He also holds the WBA and IBF crowns and is desperate to tempt Khan into the ring as he believes Britain's hottest prospect has become a protected species.

Campbell blasted: "Khan is my mandatory because Joel Casamayor is going to be stripped. He can come get it any time.

"Khan's a big fraud. A lot of guys out there are talking the talk but it's me who is walking the walk.

"Who's Khan fought? Willie Limond? He couldn't even punch and he almost knocked Khan out.

            THE CHAMP ... Campbell

"So what's going to happen when he fights a guy like me who can box, throws in volume, can slug, has great defence, a great inside game and a great outside game?

"He's fighting guys like Kristjansen who couldn't score a knockout with a hammer.

"Look at the knockout ratios of the guys Khan has fought and then look at my knockout ratio.

"I can do anything there is in the ring to do. I haven't been hurt or down in my whole career so I'm not worried about Amir Khan.

"I'm only worried about how much they're going to pay me. I hope Khan's ****** enough not to be afraid.

"Everybody keeps saying about me coming to England but I'm the champion. It's a fight that is worth a lot of money so they have to pay me good to go over there.

"If they talk to my people and make them happy, we're on the very first plane."

Like so many boxers, Campbell did not enjoy the happiest of childhoods.

He was in and out of foster care while his mum served time in prison and did not even take up boxing until he was 28.

Campbell has lost five of his 38 fights while Khan's record is unblemished after 16 bouts.

But although the American believes Khan can win a major title, he insists it will not happen while he's around.

Campbell added: "Amir has plenty of talent but he's not ready for me. He's not seen a man like me.

"The only statement Khan can make right now is to show the world he is not a fraud by agreeing to fight me."
            ------------------------------------------------------------------

i think Campbell would beat Khan at this stage of his career

i think Khan has a punchers chance against Campbell but Campbell is right he is too skilled defensively, hits to hard for Khan ,and is tough as Nails & very savvy in the ring some might call it cheating but one thing is for sure he is one craft old veteran that made Juan Diaz look very average

Campbell actually has a chance of claiming a HOF spot, the more that I think about it.

i think he is a really underrated fighter

i watched the Juan Diaz fight for the 1st time yesterday cause my computer has been on the blink & I Thought he had to much experience & ring smarts for Diaz ,i heard people say DIaz is not as fit as people like to think & the cut effected him , but Campbell hammered his body & took the fight out of him IMO ,thats another thing aswell Campbell looks like one tough cookie

he is alos defensively sound he takes the steam of a lot of shots slipping etc

After the Limond fight I was very critical of Khan but he has responded in the right way with three knockouts and a 12 round shutout decision against reasonable opposition. I think the big worry for everyone is still his chin and it is because of those lingering doubts that I think his next fight should be against European Champion Yuri Romanov. Romanov is a natural lightweight and has a decent KO record so the fight seems like the natural progression. Depending on how he does there they could then consider a title fight towards the end of the year.
