I wish I had Showtime because the fights on HBO last weekend kind of ****** just because they were two mismatches.

It sounds like the Dawson vs. Johnson fight was the best of all 4 fights this weekend.

This BTW is a press release, sent out by the promoter of Glen Johnson, and in no shape or form an unbiased opinion.
This is my honest unbiased opinion: Johnson won by a close decision. I t was Johnson who brought the fight to Dawson from the opening bell to the last bell. He got caught with some good shots while chasing Dawson but Johnson dominated Dawson and backed up Dawson most of the rounds.

I see you bet on Dawson therefore I would not expect an unbiased opinion from you.

While that's a fair point, Johnson got 80% and Dawson only 10% when voters were asked who they were most impressed with, which says it all, really.

Then we might as well discredit all of Vegas press row because a lot of them place real money bets on the fights. For some e-points, do you think I'll lose sleep?

I was impressed with how well thought-out his post fight interview was. You have to recognize how much that sways fight fans' perspectives. That's why they have PR guys.

Johnson really did take it to Dawson and even though I wanted Dawson to win, I don't think he deserved it, especially by the margin by which he won. I hope that Dawson is man enough to give Johnson a rematch to prove that he is the true champion leaving no doubt in anyones mind. Johnson deserves another chance after a great performance. Hands down the boxer of the evening out of any of the fights last Saturday night.

Here's the thing, Johnson closed the show well. I thought Johnson won 3 of the last four rounds, including the 12th. The early rounds were split, then around the 3rd or fourth Johnson came on. The tide turned so many times, it was very difficult to keep track of. That said, if there are fights where neither man deserves to lose, then boxing would be ****ed by annoying draws.

Rocky is Rocky because he loses sometimes. If he won them all, he'd be Clubber Lang.

The fight was a draw if scored properly. Terrible scoring by the judges, once again.
