HOLLYWOOD, FL – You would think Glen Johnson would be used to this by now – fighting his heart out, doing enough to win, and then seeing judges destroy his hard work with a stroke of their pen. It happened to ‘The Road Warrior’ against Joseph Kiwanuka, Sven Ottke, Omar Sheika, Julio Gonzalez, Daniel Judah, and Clinton Woods (twice), just to name a few. But Saturday night’s verdict of his bout against Chad Dawson may have hurt the most. [details]

It was a decent fight. Johnson stunned and staggered Dawson several times and it looked like Chad was about to be KO'd at various points during the fight. How Dawson ended up ahead on all the score cards is super shady.Comment

Some one here posted before the fight that if the fight went to the cards Johnson would not win no matter what. I forget who it was but they were right.
I wish I had Showtime because the fights on HBO last weekend kind of ****** just because they were two mismatches.
It sounds like the Dawson vs. Johnson fight was the best of all 4 fights this weekend.Comment

Yeah, I enjoyed it. Tarver also impressed me, but Woods froze up and disappointed. Some one here posted before the fight that if the fight went to the cards Johnson would not win no matter what. I forget who it was but they were right.

People calling close fights robberies, now that is a black eye for boxing. It was a great fight, both guys gave it everything and one guy got the decision. This isn't the Special Olympics where both guys get medals.
This BTW is a press release, sent out by the promoter of Glen Johnson, and in no shape or form an unbiased opinion.Comment
I like Johnson and it sucks that he seems to get the **** end of the stick when it comes to close fights...
