The fight is scheduled for 6.28.08 so Pacquiao's momentum from the thrilling all time classic bout he won against Juan Manuel Marquez is certainly going to carry over. He is arguably the most exciter fighter in Boxing and can be found along side other sports stars in the newest Nike commercial. So how many buys do you think the fight will do?

It could do more if promoted more, but it won't and a lot of boxing fans wouldn't pay for this.

I'm going with around 220k though because Pacquiao is still a huge star.

i think it'll do around 300k. around or a little bit more than the 2nd barrera fight. filipinos in the us will buy it and hardcore fans will buy it even though they think david is overmatched because they are curious to see manny's power and speed at 135. mexicans will buy it as well , i know they boo manny when he fights against a mexican but the majority of mexicans love manny's stye and fights. they just can't say it outloud when he's fighting beloved greats like erik and marco. (note how i don't list juan manuel as beloved or a great? marquez hater in the house! ha ha ha)

because if manny doesn't bring his pop at 135...... it could start looking like a great horror movie to me!!!

i don't want to see manny struggle unless it's with a juan diaz (considered top 135 by myself. just a bad night or matchup with nate) or ricky hatton (big money for manny's retirement fund and a natural featherweight's loss to the lineal junior welterweight champion won't hurt his resume or legacy)
