It's similar to Mayweather-Hatton in this regard. A lot of people picked Hatton to win, though it doesn't make sense that they actually thought it would happen. This fight is about as mismatched, no?

I simply can't understand how fight fans can really believe that Hopkins has anything but a long shot chance in winning this fight. I can't blame Hopkins for taking the fight since it's a really good payday , nor am I surprised of all the jaw ******* he does leading up to the fight. Hopkins is not in his prime anymore boxing skills wise but his mouth is far from being old. Hopkins is the one who has shown his diminished skills in the last few years, he's a great fighter but can only fight in spurts. Hopkins is never been known as a devastating puncher and now he's fighting bigger guys that only diminishes his punching power. Calzaghe like him or hate him has not shown that his stamina has diminshed like Hopkins and has consistantly shown he can not only overwhelm much younger opponents but has the skills to stay to stay in the pocket with much harder punchers than Hopkins ever was and be successful. Calzaghe's only worry in this fight is Hopkins uncanny ability to get dirty when he's just out of sight of the referee so a cut from a butt or elbow or low blows should be watched for as Hopkins only chance is to cut or injure Calzaghe early enough to slow him down enough to make their work rate equal. I frankly don't see this happening and still expect a huge wide margin win for Calzaghe with Hopkins complaining he was robbed just like in the two losses to Jermain Taylor although I thought he won the rematch.

Everyone from Philly who knows his neighborhood finds his image laughable. It's publicity.

But it makes no difference to me if you believe me

    Bull****.

It's nice to try to save him by pretending he had a plan. He had no plan. He was not in control of his faculties when he made that statement. And he's been backtracking and trying desperately to explain himself ever since.

He got heated b/c Joe showed him disdain, and he lost it. The real Bernard came out suddenly, and it turns out he's as ugly inside as he is outside.

I wonder about anyone who actually wants him to win.

Calzaghe winning is obviously the better result for everyone

    The ****'s pathetic.
    I don't think he can.

It's also funny how upset he is that white boxers now dominate the sport
