Lets REALLY take a serious look at Cotto's resume

Anyone who can KO a middleweight with a JAB is a great fighter irregardless
of his resume. But I see your point.

Cotto doesnt have the best resume. But who cares? The only fight that matters is Mayweather/Cotto.

I'm a Mayweather fan here but his resume isn't better than Cotto's at all.
ODH - past his prime
Hatton - true 140, struggled at 147 at times, and simply overrated.
Baldomir - not that good.
Zab Judah - coming off loss to Baldy
Gatti - never really that good (entertaining yes)
Castillo - some say mayweathers one loss
Diego Corrales - probably his best win considering Diego was undefeated at the time.

Your totally right, Cotto's resume is horrible. Cotto should take serious competition like Paul Williams did and fight Sharmba Mitchel

lets take a look at mayweathers resume by your point of view

Ricky Hatton - blown up welter who almost got stopped by Luis Collazo
Oscar De La Hoya - a senior citizen as you like to call them who Money May had trouble with
Carlos Baldomir - a dude who sells feather dusters in Argentina, literally
Zab Judah - softened up by a feather duster from Argentina
Arturo Gatti - a walking punching bag waiting to get hit
