Fight like that one last night are hard fights to judge. For some people Johnson's constantly coming forward and throwing lots of punches is what some people like. On the other hand some people could like the effective boxing of Chad Dawson. I personally had Dawson winning by one or two points, but could have seen a draw and even a close victory for Johnson. I felt in no way it was a robbery, but you can't blame Johnson for his reaction. He's unfortunately been on the wrong end of some pretty bad decisions and his frustration was showing.

I'm usually the type to score on clean punching more so then anything (which is why I had the Hopkins-Taylor fight for Hopkins, but they were close and Marquez-Pacquiao fights for Marquez) and to me Johnson was definietly landing cleaner punchers and blocking most of Dawson's punches.

Even when Dawson was boxing Johnson, Johnson was blocking Dawson's punches and coming back with his own. Dawson would throw body shots that were good, but Johnson would throw body shots after that and then follow up with shots to the face. I think that's why he won rounds 6 and 8, but I'm downloading this fight now and going to rewatch it.

I don't understand how anybody scored Hopkins-Taylor I for Hopkins. Hopkins did more damage and won a few rounds dominantly, but Taylor won more.

Last night Johnson dominated a few rounds and definitely did more damage, but he didn't clearly win more rounds.

Well I wouldn't say clearly, which is why I'm ok with the draw, but he definietly didn't lose 8 rounds either.

It was a draw if you think Chad punching Glen Johnsons gloves gives him points.

Well you can't on the official judges, but I'd give all the rounds you gave him plus 6 and 8, or atleast one of those rounds.

I had it 7-5 for Johnson. At best for Dawson I could see a draw, one point win would be questionable but not that bad, 116-112 across the board is bad joke.

Dawson should give him a rematch. You know damn well Johnson would if he won.

                    6: 10-9 Johnson
                    7: 10-9 Dawson
                    8: 10-9 Dawson
                    9: 10-9 Johnson
                    10: 10-9 Johnson
                    11: 10-9 Johnson
                    12: 10-9 Johnson

8 rounds for Johnson to Dawsons 4

My scorecard is accurate, because I re-watched that fight alot of times. I didn't count the punches chad landed on johnson gloves like some ppl

I definitely thought this fight was a draw as well. If anything, a split decision would have made more sense but I did not see Dawson winning by those margins. I gained a lot of respect for Glen Johnson and really did feel bad for him after the outcome. I wanted Dawson to win but I'm upset with the judges. It was a great fight though and I'm glad I got to see it. Out of all four fights that were on Saturday night I thought that one was the best.
