Explain to me how Dawson got "exposed" or was "overrated

Johnson may have had 11 losses on his record but he was no journeyman who got 1 or 2 name wins on his resume like Baldomir. This is a fighter who defeated Tarver, Woods, RJJ and who the majority believe was robbed against Sven Ottke, Woods and many other fighters. Johnson is the epitome of everything that is veteran and has many years of experience over Dawson. So it could only be expected that Chad was going to dig deep and pull out the fight of his life which he basically did.

Now, in now way, shape or form did Dawson dominate the legendary Road Warrior. I'm not saying that, but he fought Johnson the way he needed to. He mostly stuck to his game plan Boxing and throwing combinations. Many hit Glenn's gloves, but many landed as well. He circled around the ring landing his left and moving out of danger's way, but he also initiated and exchanged when he needed to. He got caught and wobbled, but he played it smart, held here and there and went balls out trading blows with Glenn showing what his heart was made of. His body work was BEAUTIFUL as well.

I didnt see anything in the fight showing that Chad doesnt belong at this level. No one was predicting that Dawson was going to go out and completely dominate or destroy Johnson. Who HAS ever done that? Chad edged a win in a fight which was predicted to be the hardest test of his career. Johnson has been a victim of many horrible decisions but this wasnt one of them.

Johnson was like wat, 32-0 before he faced Hopkins. People forget Hopkins ****S UP careers. Johnson was like 7-2-1 before facing chad and it SHOULD BE 9-1. It was a darn good test for Chad and JUST like I said he will win a close decision and learn ALOT from it.

Dawson delivered a Jekyll and Hyde performance. In some rounds he was majestic, a joy to behold and looked every inch a superstar. In other rounds he was sloppy, hurt easily and simply not thinking about what he should be doing. All things considered, I thought it was a positive performance and with more top level fights he should be able to iron out the creases in his game.

Sounds good, but actually Johnson had beaten NO ONE before Hopkins. His career took off AFTER the Hopkins fights and all of his biggest wins came after that as well.

And what sucks is how the quality of the fight is being overshadowed by unjust hate. That was a DOPE ****ing fight. Its another one we can chalk up as part of ANOTHER great year of Boxing.

Dawson is overrated, he is NOT the real deal...He got his ass beat by a slow 39 year old, past his prime fighter with 12 losses...Johnson is a tough warrior and I have mad respect for him, but he was/is only a B/C+ level fighter at best. Johnson isn't even a big puncher and he hurt Dawson bad and rocked him tons of times during the fight...Johnson got ROBBED.

Dawson is a KO waiting to happen...Kessler is probably moving up to 175, he would knock Dawson out cold, Calzaghe would also beatdown Dawson..Hell, old Tarver would knock Dawson with a left hook just like he did to RJJ.

Dawson looked alright. Nothing too special. But I suppose I'm probably spoiled in a sense - a can never see "fast hands" the same way again after Roy Jones Jr. Every few seconds, the commentators were gushing about Dawson's handspeed, and, while he's clearly no slouch in this department, it's difficult to see greatness in this fighter's future.

                  Tarver can beat him.

If judges weren't paid off this is how the score card would have looked like.

                    1: 10-9 Dawson
                    2: 10-9 Dawson
                    3: 10-9 Johnson
                    4: 10-9 Johnson
                    5: 10-9 Johnson
                    6: 10-9 Johnson
                    7: 10-9 Dawson
                    8: 10-9 Dawson
                    9: 10-9 Johnson
                    10: 10-9 Johnson
                    11: 10-9 Johnson
