As a Margarito fan, I feel he is getting due respect after his win on Saturday. Of course that can all change quickly, but I'm impressed with the way people here have recognized.

No one really said he could beat Mayweather, just that he deserved a shot at the time and Floyd did turn down what would have been a record payday to fight him.

But let's look at a different thing. He's a REALLY sore loser. When he lost to Daniel Santos he cried bloody murder. When he lost to Williams he swore up and down for weeks that the fight was fixed. There's only one thing I can't respect in a fighter and that's when they don't give their opponent credit for beating them. It's one thing to do it in the ring in the heat of the moment right after you just gave your all, but Margarito went on for weeks and weeks even after he went all this time calling himself the baddest man and the most avoided man. He may have been that but he's also one of the sorest losers in boxing right now.
