This fight is going to happen, there is no doubt about it.

Top Rank promotes both of these guys.

Arum showcased them on the same card setting up a fight between the two.

It couldn't have worked out better for them. Both won by KO impressively. Coto looked better but he had a worse opponent.

Margarito has nobody else to fight that can bring him more money right now.
Mayweather won't fight him, neither will Oscar.

Cotto can't make any more money off anyone else either
Mayweather or Oscar won't fight him (for now).

A fight with PW won't pay either guy as much as this fight will.

People are salivating over this fight.

Margarito already pulled out once before to fight PW and it back fired on him.

He's been given a second chance, he won't back out this time.

Sure he haggles with Arum over money like he has in the past (i.e. the Mosley fight). But he fights who Arum tells him to fight.
