I interviewed Gamache this morning and he didn't seem sour at all. He praised Margarito highly and even said that he's highly underrated. I just think he's in line with a lot of pundits who agree that Cotto beats Margarito.

I'm always shocked when I hear people say that Cotto is slow. He is fast and also very efficient with his punches.

Cotto is going to outbox Margarito easily. I doubt it turns into a slugfest. Cotto is an idiot if he plans to fight Margarito straight up.

Many of you will be very suprised at how convincingly Cotto will beat Margarito. Cotto is much more skilled than he gets credit for, and as far as his chin goes..... He has yet to be KOed or even clearly KD (Torres was not a clear KD). I say Cotto by UD. Cotto will box Margarito's ears off.

Cotto last night looked extremely fast and he showed he's fighting right now at an extremely high level. Gomez wasn't the best opponent, but Cotto absolutely destroyed him. IMO Cotto is better in every way skill wise than Margarito, but with Margarito's chin and absolute determination he will make a fight of it. I see Cotto beating him, but it will be a well earned victory and a good fight for the fans.

I picture a fight that on the scorecards will comfortable, but will be tough none the less. It'll be one of those "easy fights" that aren't so easy.

Cotto will try to box Margarito no doubt, but the pressure Antonio will put on him might be too much.

We have to remember Cotto almost always starts backing away and panics a bit when he can't hurt you, look at Mosley vs Cotto or Lovemore N'dou vs Cotto.

Margarito showed last night he can take some serious bombs from one of the hardest 1 punch hitting fighter in boxing, Cintron might not be the best in many area's but his punching power is there no doubt. Margarito has a big shot to win this fight, people who think it's going to be easy for Cotto will be in for a rude awakening.

I completely agree. Im sure Margarito will have his moments, but not enough to clearly win that many rounds. I just dont see Marg being able to have an answer for all of Cotto's variables. The only way that Cotto would lose is if he continually chooses to fight Margarito's type fight (on the inside).

People seem to forget that Cotto almost got KOd by Judah in the 1st round. He ate a WICKED right uppercut that stunned him bad... then proceeded to hit Judah below the belt twice. Who knows what would've happened if Zab didnt get low-blowed, he might of finished him off right then and there. That being said, Margarito has a solid chance at KOing Cotto. (I know, Judah is a lot faster than Margarito).

Cotto is better than Margarito in many aspects but you have to keep in mind, my boy Toni has a ****ing titanium chin and good power. I see Cotto cruising to a comfortable decision IF (that's a big if) he's able to keep the fight as more of a chess match. Mark my words, Margarito knows this and will do everything in his power to make this more of a physical fight. This is the wildcard here, will Margarito be able to turn this into a brawl enough to KO Cotto?
