Any Cotto Supporters Think Margarito Will Beat Him?

Simple question. If you don't think Margarito can beat Cotto please explain why in technical terms. See a Margarito victory? Break it down.

Margarito will win.

Cotto isn't reliant enough on movement to not get drawn into a Margarito-type fight, because that is what Cotto has done for a lot of his fights. I just think Margarito is going to be better at it, because of his workrate, and his chin. He showed me that he can be pretty accurate against Cintron as well.

I don't see how anybody can be sure of anything in this fight. I appreciate the last guy giving a good reason with the movement issue, but we've never seen either of these guys matched up against someone like the other - not even close. I think Cotto will win a decision because he is certainly a better boxer and a good jab is a hard thing for Margarito to get past. I think Cotto is better than Clottey and will do what Clottey should have done before he broke his hands in winning a decision. I could see Cotto hurting Margarito to the body late in the fight to seal the deal (116-112ish)

I honestly don't know who will win this fight, it could go two possible scenarios. I think if Cotto fights the way he fought with Mosley, use the jab, and try not to trade, he will decision Maragarito, if he decides to trade with him and try to pressure Marg, he will most likely get KO'd IMO.

i believe he can cotto has been rocked tho a few times by lesser punchers but magerito fights on the inside and most of the time where his been rocked is on the outside but not sure.
Cotto gta be the favourite i hope he stops magerito.

I feel Cotto will make a mockery of Margarito. They are operating on different levels.

I used to think Margarito, but I was overlooking the speed factor. Cotto's speed inside is like nothing Margarito has seen. It all comes down to Cotto's tendency to get stunned, and Margarito's success at taking advantage of such circumstances. I'm not sure what to think yet.

I think it is possible, but I also think that Cotto can take the fight if he fights smartly.

Margarito is obviously bigger, got a great stamina and fights every second of the fight. He also got the chin.

Cotto is a much more polished fighter, he is also quicker and seems more fluid in the ring, he can also take a decent punch, especially if it is not a flush shot that he does not see.


I think if Cotto does not spend too much time trying to hit Margo with everything but kitchen sink and goes in and out like an asian man's **** in an old hooker's ***** he can do it.

It is also very important for Cotto to use his bodypunching to slow down Tony for later rounds, since Tony seems to be somewhat of a slow starter, but once he gets his thing going he is relentless.

If Cotto does not do all these things I think Margorito can and will **** him up.
