Boxing couldnt be any hotter right now, Margarito-Cotto id have to say is my top fight to watch that can be made, it makes for more excitement then Cotto/Margarito vs Mayweather.

Tony Margarito will be Cotto's toughest fight. Mark my words. Margarito will stand there in front of Miguel and take everything he has to dish out. Cotto will still win but not without being in a real war.

Wow...Top Rank propaganda machine is working overtime on this thread. Were you guys really impressed by two mismatches on paper playing out the exact way everyone expected!?!

What's more I've read some of you post stuff about how unimpressed you were with Mayweather's body of work in 2007. Pure hypocrisy, but it's cool. If you enjoy being swindled by Bob Arum then do you.

I agree 1000% on Margarito being his toughest fight.

If it's any tougher than the Mosley fight that means he's going to lose. I don't think he will lose. So, you want to put some points on Margarito? I got Cotto.

Cotto's jab is almost like a straight right since he's a natural southpaw, but after beating Gomez the way he did, I think a good solid jab from anyone else with similar power as Cotto would of KO'ed Gomez as well. Gomez was on life support at that point of the fight, his legs were too wide apart and shaky, but regardless Cotto is a beast.

Cotto looked very quick and powerful last night. Relative to himself in the past, not Gomez. He still waits on his opponent in spots and that could be trouble against a guy like Margarito who can really pile it on. Could be overwhelming.

Still a nice performance, beating down a tough fighter who has been in with big, strong opponents.
