At the end of round 1, the look Cotto shot Gomez as he was walking back to his corner pretty much said it all. As if to say "you're not in my league, tiger"

i actually read it the other way.... I thought cotto knew he could of taken him out very early so he was trying to give the fans some action. Also he could of really let rip on gomez and hurt him bad, he seemed reluctant to do this and I thought that showed good class. Maybe i read it wrong

No reason why not to fight the way he did, he obviously knew Gomez wasn't on his level, I personally don't like that sort of behavior in the ring but I can't blame Cotto for doing that.

That's kind of a dramatic way of turning things. Cotto won't change overnight, the difference between him and Tyson, Judah and every other arrogant boxer out there is that Cotto knows where the bounderies are. If anything I can predict we'll see a better Cotto with each fight, so your reasoning doesn't really make sense to me
