Sometimes its good for a trainer to be honest, this way Cintron doesnt go into the fight thinking to himself the first match was a fluke and now since picking up a world class trainer there is no way he can lose, IMO that was a good thing for Steward to say in all honesty, keep Cintron in check keep that fear pumping through his blood it might be what keeps him honest in the fight and able to pull out a win.
IMO its a pick em fight even though Tony won the first match, Cintron can ****.

I can't imagine how Cintron could possibly be overcofident against someone who knocked his ass out. If anything, Cintron needs a confidence booster. No way he will forget what happened three years ago.

I didn't want to bore you fellas with it, but in this article Steward talks about the youtube video Cintron posted challenging Margarito. Manny claims that Kermit did that without his knowledge. I guess the implication here is that Cintron is/was obsessed and wouldn't take no for an answer.. I still find this remark by Steward telling, odd, and uncommon.

I think Scott made a good point regarding professionalism. Even on a basic level when you're a family or part of a team saying things like this are taboo to say the absolute ****ing least..

          AGREE.

          Props to Cintron...

          GOOD K for YA!!!

For all the peps that have done this in their life they know what it's like for all the people who play it safe... you will never know because you never tried. If more people took chances in boxing as opposed to taking the safe secure rout it would bring it back to the golden years of when people used to watch greatness. win or win Kermit's my boy! mad respect for this fight!

          TWo (or one) THUMBS UP!!!!

          PARTIALLY TRUE.

Not everyone can be perfect... lol

Anyway, the fight is happening because Kermit said so. Even Tony had publicly thanked him for the tittle shot. Manny is just using some mind games.

That's a great help to Cintron's confidence, I'm sure he's feeling great right now.

I agree brotha, this is the kinda fight that makes you or brakes you. Time to find out who Cintron is, Cotto did it against Zab and Mosley, time for Cintron to avenge that loss or step down.

Kermit got no balls. No cojones esta noche. Manny should had done better managing, if he knew Kermit was not ready. Anyway, kermit got what he deserved. Wanting to become better needs to be accompanied with becoming better. I guess Kermit will still be a "One Punch Wonder".

Manny needs to teach one of his fighters to fight on the inside...

                    But Cintron looked fairly listless.
