Steward: "I'm Not Comfortable Kermit Will Win"

"Kermit wants the fight. He told me: 'lets do it.' It's a good fight but it's a fight, not to put Kermit down, it's not one I'm comfortable we're going to win.

When you're a world champion you owe it to the public, you've got to fight the best, and I think, for him, Margarito is the most credible fight but [also] the most difficult fight and the biggest-risk fight. But, more than Cotto or Shane Mosley, I think this is the fight he needs to fight."

This speaks to Cintron's heart and courage and desire to "get that loss back" more than anything. Good for him.

Boxing needs more fighters that want to take tough challenges.

          jesus, manny wheres the professionalism?

I can imagine the scene now.

Kermit flat on his back, eyes glazed, staring through the ropes at Steward.

Steward: Yap, this is exactly how I expected this fight would go.

If everyone in boxing was as honest as Steward in those comments. For Kermit, this is not a test of his skills, it's a test of his mind, where he has to answer two questions: Was the first fight a fluke? Am I the next Zab Judah?

If Cintron wins than what, they both suck now. Move up Andre Berto , Mayweather, Cotto, and Hatton. Either one might take their belt. It'd be better if Margarito wins so Cotto can fight him already.

Wow, I like Cintron all the better now.

He knows Margarito is a tough matchup, and wants to prove he can beat him. If only Floyd had had that kind of champion mentality a couple years ago, we wouldn't have had to watch the Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir fights while Margarito was begging to fight him for a bigger payday the whole time!

                Props to Cintron...

I'm not comfortable that Cintron will win either. It's a nice way to put it from Manny, because Cintron won't win.
I'll be shocked if he does.

Gomez has a better chance of winning tonight than Cintron. Tough words from your trainer, but if Manny hyped Kermit up, we'd know it's a lie.
