Retire undefeated as one of the greatest champions the sport has seen and top possible top 20 fighter of all times. ALL TIMES CHAWLIE MURPHAY!!!!!!!!
Lets say Floyd was fighting Cotto September 20th....and won..now what should PBF do?

Fighting and beating the biggest threat to your crown does that for you buddy. If beating DLH who wasnt and ISNT even ranked in the top 10 p4p and isnt even the best in HIS OWN division makes you fighter of the year, then beating an undefeated proven champion in his prime will sure as hell do more.Comment

Floyd retiring would be a nice concept in theory but lets face it; not many fighters actually permanently call it quits on the top of their game and i dont think floyd will follow suit. at best he goes away for a year; maybe 2 and then an offer will arise he couldnt turn down.
i say floyd fights until he turns at least 34-36.
why?
because as long as the money is right, floyd will do it.
If floyd beat cotto i'd say fight pacquaio at a catch weight or 147 (pacquiao came in at 146 on fight night for his last match against marquez)...so its definately possible and i think it would be a good fight.
and its good for floyd because its a big money fight...and its good for boxing to see the top 2 p4p fighters in the world in there against each other...
so i think other fighting another welterweight (who may seem to rise to the top if cotto loses) then pacquiao is the next best thing and i think in a sense we all win.Comment

The fight with Cotto is the real challenge, not fighting a shot and past his prime Oscar DeLaHoya twice for the last 3 years.Comment
