I like cotto but i don't think he can beat floyd. Floyd has longer reach, faster, and a way better boxer. Cotto has a lot of heart, he's strong but his chin is questionable.
Hatton did not have to chase Mayweather, he had his opportunity and he turned it down, so did SSM, but after floyd became p4p everyone started calling him out
You took the words right out of mouth... As a fan of his I want the Cotto fight and then retirement (just my opinion), but with stunts like he's pulling its rather hard to justify his actions. I'm a fan of in-the-ring talent more so on how much money Floyd could possible make.

I can accept the fact that a Oscar vs Floyd II ( and I dont agree with it but I cant knock him for taking it) since the first fight ended in a split decision. Some people even went on to say Oscar was robbed
    ( )

Now this whole Hatton stunt is kinda week move on his part IMO (its obvious-He wants the money) is rather pointless. He knocked Hatton the **** out... There is no need to fight Hatton again. Hatton is a good fighter but he cant beat Mayweather.

Floyd is a good fighter with some DAMN good talent, but he is letting it slip away from him. I still thing a fight with Cotto and Mayweather happen.

Some of you Cotto fans\ Floyd haters are really trippin'... Do you even know what the **** you're typing?

And he has beat all challengers. You critics act as if he is self proclaimed P4P #1.

Best of alltime is always subjective and IMO SRR will forever remain that.

HIS P4P STATUS IS NOT UNANIMOUS. THE REAL BOXING FANS DO NOT HAVE HIM #1 IN THE P4P.

BEING UNDEFEATED DONT MEAN HE HAS BEAT THE BEST.

but wouldn't you want to see him, since I take it you are a fan of his, continue to challenge himself, continue to up his game, continue to prove why he is the best at what he does rather than fighting two guys he already beat? One of them pretty thoroughly?

I think thats all we ask of the best correct? to continue to prove why they are viewed as the best.

Their are articles out on were he acknowledges that he will grant both of them rematches..I'm just to lazy to pull up the articles.

what i will assume is that all us would prefer pbf to fight cotto, the part where the problem comes up is when someone say pbf is ducking cotto or cotto is not good enough for pbf but everyone would prefer a pbf vs cotto over pbf taking on someone else or cotto taking on someone else right?

Of course i wouldn't mind seeing him challenged. I'm just not outraged and being critical for him not fighting Cotto right now. when the fight is much more lucrative down the line and everyone is savoring for it, it'll happen.

With that said, I don't think Cotto will be a challenge for him though. It'll be jsut another fight, but I could be wrong.
