Miguel Cotto Is Using Plain And Basic Common Sense. As Far As Money Cotto Can Make Just As Much Fighting Margarito And The Other Top Welterweights. Mayweather Would Help His Legacy But Mayweather Ducking Him Already Shows The World That Cotto Is A Great Fighter.

This has already been posted...WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto is not concerned with chasing after Floyd Mayweather Jr, who holds the WBC's version of the title at 147-pounds. In the opinion of Cotto, there are more than enough big names at 147-pounds to keep him busy. [details]

I respect Cotto more and more. He's the ****in man. If Mayweather VS. Cotto ever happens (which i truly hope does one day) this will be our generation's Leonard VS. Hearns.Comment

Floyd thinks he's always going to be as good and as sought out as he is now. He's going to keep on not fighting welterweights, and avoiding big fights, and turning down fighters. Then before he knows it he's going to be in Winky Wrights position, strugling to get big name fighters to fight him, trying to get big fights because of who he was. The attitude Floyd has now and the way he choses to behave himself, the future top fighters are going to love nothing more but to turn down a used up older Floyd, when it's Floyd trying to ask them for fights, trying to get a few last big money fights. Im a big fan of both Mayweather and Cotto, but Cotto has more class in his pinky nail then mayweather gots in his whole body. IMO.Last edited by PoetryInMotion; 04-11-2008, 11:43 AM.Comment

I guess you can't see reality for having Cotto's **** in your mouth. There is no fight Cotto can fight that will make the kind of money a fight with Mayweather will make. Cotto will have to fight 3 or fights to make that kind of money. Are you so ****** that you can't see this is just a smokescreen? He wants Floyd very bad. He will no doubt lose because his chin is suspect and he's slow as hell. Floyd has indeed fought a Cotto before just like he hold Hatton, I've fought many Ricky Hattons and the results are always the same. It's about the money man, and Cotto knows it!Comment
