That's too bad, I liked the show. I think most of the people that don't like the show in this site because they didn't show the fights in the entirely (or at least not all the time), which to us boxing fans is a bad thing, but the point of the show wasn't too appeal to hardcore boxing fans, it's intentions were to appeal to non-boxing fans, which is a very good thing.

The first season was great, I mean even though the level of these fighters is C class or maybe B class at best, it's still boxing and fun to watch. Plus, there have been some great fights produced, Bika/Cordington was an instant Classic.

Hope someone picks it up

If you are a fan of boxing then you should atleast respect the show and realize the potential it has to attract new fans to the sport. I hope someone picks up The Contender, I really enjoy the show.
