I liked the second season of that show. My only 2 gripes about it would be that they show the fights in their entirety which they eventually fixed and that they get sugar ray leonard more involved with the show. They made him out to be an inspirational father figure but he didnt actually do much inspiring except for hand out prizes to the winners of every round. Still a good show with alot of potential yet to be tapped into. And the fighters on that show arent ******ass frat boys that get drunk and trash the house every season like on the ufc reality show.

I think it's a joke too man. Too much editing & all those sound effects every time a fighter lands a punch is just straight up cheezy to me.

I liked the first season but after that it was pretty lame, it did produce Manfredo/Mora 1 and 2 which were both good fights and Bika/Codrington which was up for FOY, so it did produce something for boxing

IF you dont like reality shows...dont watch them. There were several fans of the Contender series. It would be nice bring it back for fans of the show.

The show still has alot of untapped potential that can be fixed with a new production team. The show focused wayy too much on living the dream of fighting on tv or being a world champ. But if they focused on the nitty gritty and got a couple of trainers with a foul mouth and unusual training methods like mickey from the rocky movies and the show can be a big hit.

it was good for boxing... look at how the ultimate figher helped the UFC...

if you didnt like it, dont watch it, but wishing it away is just ****** if you're a boxing fan....
