        Flurries, when mixed with power shots, can be a good thing. A flurry confuses the opponent and allows you to take him by surprise with harder punches at unexpected angles because the opponent is concentrating on the flurry. If that style works for Joe, and clearly, it has so far, then there's no good reason why he shouldn't use it.

            you people are so blind. All of this pad "work" is just for show. Bernard is not gonna stand right there for Joe, and if Joe tries to punch like that at BHop he's gonna stay from the outside and counter him all night long.

              Even though i like B-Hop. Joe Calzaghe is one of the most under rated fighters of all time. Come April 19th, im sure the world will realise it.

                    Good point, but hopkins isn't a flashy offensive fighter so his padwork wouldn't be nearly as impressive.
