Ricky would get him... I know a lot of people are looking at the Floyd & Collazo fights & noticing how Hatton has a problem with "movers"... Malignaggi is a good boxer, but he lacks the power, defense, & experience (barely) to negate Ricky's relentess style. I know Ricky is no defensive savvant, but I think he's a lil bit 2 much for the NY slickster!
Someone made a comparison to the Cotto fight & where Paulie may have success early using lateral movement & quick 1-2 counters, but eventually Ricky's going to realize Paulie can't hurt him, close the distance & stay in Paulie face & working the body for the whole night...I don't think he's going to knock pauile out, but he will DEFINTELY win the fight... I'd say 116-112 or 115-113 for Hatton

I agree Maliinagi has some skills offensively, but he is easy to hit, thats all Hatton needs enough openings to work the body and slow Mallinaggi down. Hatton TKO 7th or 8th.
i agree, he looked awful against ngdoujo, but he looked awesome against ndou.
i think paulie underestimated ngdoujo and just didnt prepare like he should. but hope he learns from his mistakes.

Personally i think as long as he is quick on his feet, cuts the ring down well, and goes to the body, Malignaggi would get his arse kicked. The only question for me is about how much punishment Paulie can take, decision or KO? Because of the Cotto fight i say decision. Hatton would need to be totally shot for Paulie to win IMO.

        my thoughts exactly.

            good post

also Paulie relies a lot of lateral movemnet & like u said once Hatton shuts him down he would be nullified completly ,because beside the obvious facts that Floyd is superior in every department he is capable of fighting in the pocket and not getting hit he does'nt have rely on lateral movement to be defensivly sound or to attack his oponent from angles

Floyd can stand stock still and be just as effective Malignaggi needs time & space ,Hatton would deny him all this
