This article has the ages of some of the fighters wrong. Calzaghe and Woods are both 36.

I like this idea & I hope Chris does well. I must be one of those cable tv fans from back in the day.

I was also excited when Jeremy Williams made the decision to go to Cruiser. I always thought what a monster Jeremy Williams would have been at light heavy with that power he has if he had stayed at that weight after the olympics.

Those were two heavies who had gifts but just couldn't keep up with the "super heavies".

I think that Chris Byrd and Montell Griffin will be a good fight at this point. But, I dont think he deserves a title shot for a while. He needs to prove he has something left in the tank after his last few fights , looking so old and slow.

byrd is gonna be a headache for anyone at LHW.

I'm amazed he could make the weight.

He's going to be in tough for his first fight at 175.

Cruiser seems a more logical choice but I guess it's the money to be made at 175lb that is the main incentive.

yh if byrd isnt drained at the weight and providing that he's still got a couple of years left in him hes going to be an absolute nightmare for anyone he may face at LHW. hes such an awkward fighter, top notch boxing skills IMO.
