Wlad will KO Thompson in 4 or 5 rounds.

Another American heavyweight bites the dust.

I think this will be like the Brock fight. But Wlad will be even more aggressive.

Has Thompson ever been knocked down? Is he known for having a particularly good or bad chin?

I said 9 or 10. Wlad usually breaks his dude down and then takes him out. I don't see Thompson as someone who's just going to crumble. Barry Hunter fighters usually know how to defend themselves. So, I figure it'll take a little while. It wouldn't even surprise me if Thompson won a round or two and went the distance, but I think Wlad will get him out of there after the backlash he got for not KOing Ibragimov.

Thompson has never been down...but that will all change on July 12 when Thompson gets hit on the chin by a steelhammer right hand or left hook.

                    Wlad by KO

Wladimir will likely stop Thompson around the middle rounds as he normally does (unless Thompson is completely overmatched) but I would give Thompson a decent chance at going the distance. He could potentially be a tricky opponent with his size, southpaw style and high guard.

I do feel that Wladimir will come out more aggressively this time, looking to impress, it could work against him too. I don't think Thompson has it in him to take advantage of that though.
