How can you say that? Fact is, Hopkins has 4 losses on his record because he couldn't figure out Jermain Taylor or Roy Jones. Calzaghe will be the best fighter Bernard's been in the ring with since Jones way back in 1993.

Hopkins can be beaten with super speed and smart footwork.

De ja Vu... I'm sure Hatton was screaming **** like this last december...

Calzaghe can take hopkins as long as he doesn't let the event overcome him, and not get to involved with hopkins pre fight mind games...

Welcome to boxing newb. You'll soon find out how little those 4 L'S and pretty zero really mean.

Thanks for the welcome to boxing, xfiles. You're 31 years too late (I've been following this sport since 1977), but I appreciate the welcome.

he lost his 1st pro fight, which was a loooong time ago, then Bernard was green when he fought Roy (no one has seen a talent like Roy at the time). Style make fights, those 2 Taylor losses are the only 2 that haunts B-Hop and even then those 2 losses which Hopkins looked real good losing & Taylor looked horrible in winning... with that said, Hopkins is always a wild card in that ring...u just never know what ur gonna get..its safe to say he's learned so much in those losses. Calzaghe has all the tools to defeat the Executioner, BUT if he wasn't a southpaw I'd give him the edge. I just believe it takes an ORTHODOX fighter with power & speed to trouble Bernard...

I'm just going by his track record and to why he'll defeat Joe...

He "conquered" Winky three weight divisions above the only one where Winky was champ

Give me a break. That win meant next to nothing. And it was damn close anyway

And it's STILL a better win than anything Calzaghe has done in his career...
