It just looks to me its more Roys choice to go to the ropes... he looks completely fine and comfortable to goto the ropes, let his opponent get off and work in between the shots.. it looks like hes been practicing it a lot...

Yeah hanshaw pressed forward, but Roy looked comfortable in the hanshaw fight... and the one time hanshaw actually landed a solid right hand, it literally looked like it pissed roy off and he knocked him down 5 seconds later with a sick combination

You have to remember, his idol was Ali... That might be good or bad, but I still think its his choice to goto the ropes.

It would be bad for him to go back to the ropes, the way to beat Miranda is to keep the fight at center ring and outbox him.

Jones did look like he led Trinidad to the ropes once or twice but there were times when Trinidad pushed him back there, a guy like Trinidad, who is naturally much smaller than Jones, had no business pushing him back to the ropes.
