An Internet Spanish language news source reports that Edwin Valero and Manny Pacquiao could be facing off in Cancun, Mexico during October of this year.
After seeing the success of a March card in Cancun where heavyweight Samuel Peter defeated Oleg Maskaev, Mexican entrepreneur Jose Alberto Gomez is interested in putting together another card in Mexico's elite resort city.

The report goes on to say that Valero's promoter Akihiko Honda of Japan is working on the October card and Valero and Pacquiao is a possible bout for the Fall brawl in Mexico.

Valero's promoter already said the report is B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T. Valero returns in June and has no immediate plans to move up to 135.

well atleast tell the truth. Pac got his ass kicked by Morales the first time and he ass ****d morales the next fights. Pac destroyed Barrera and just tolerated him in the second. He didnt woop Marquez's ass. He just EDGED him out.
