i think kessler has enough of a chin and plenty of boxing skillz to exploit the crude pavlik, he also has a punch that will get pavliks attention, that being said pavlik has enough power to ko anyone with enough shots at 160 or 168
Kessler vs. Pavlik at 168

Not alot of people on here giving Pavlik much of a chance against kessler? kinda surprising.. I think this is just a pick em fight, no clear cut winner, and anything could happen.Comment

Everyone rates Kessler so highly like he is some sort of machine. He has never beaten a grade A fighter. I just do not see what others see in him.pavlik all ****ing day. get this euro crap out of here. mikkel is overrated. he is skilled but I dont see what the big deal is and another euro fighter, joe c, proved me right. mikkel aint ****. I dont see him beating elite fighters. i think he beats every bfighter out there but when he steps up to A class, he will come up short. his performance against calzaghe was so lackluster. he did nothing speacial except maybe an uppercut or two.
He has good fundamental boxing skills, but he let Joe bully him. Both he and Joe's claim to fame is each other. I just don't get it.
I personally think he wants to keep riding the European circuit, grab a belt and keep defending it there against more of the Euro closed circuit guys.
Pavlik, who always looks sloppy but gets the job done, is in a tough fight at first, but wears Kessler down and stops him mid rounds. Kessler is really nothing special. All he has ever done was beat up on old weak ass 168 pounders, who fought at 168 to avoid the toughies at 160 and 175.
People claim that 168 became some sort of hotbed. Notice that it was mostly filled with substandard guys who all wanted a trinket belt? So Joe and Mikkel went in and beat them. Big Whoop!Last edited by deanrw; 04-09-2008, 11:22 PM.Comment
