German HW hope Dettweiler in gross mismatch!

On the Sylvester-Castillejo undercard german heavyweight hope René Dettweiler is to fight 35 year old dane Ingvardt Jorgensen.

Dettweiler comes in with a record of 21-1 (11 KO) and his opponent has the outstanding record of (drumroll please.......) 8-2 (3 KO). AND Jorgensen fought last time in march this year by knocking out the superhot hungarian prospect Miklos Toldi (2-27). It was Jorgensen's first fight in 8 years!!

    Thats proper match-making. YIKES!

    LMFAO

That is a joke of a fight if i ever heard one, makes Hatton-Mayweather 2 look like a credible match-up!

The Danish Professional Boxing Federation (DPBF) today showed some balls by permitting Ingvardt Jorgensen to take the fight. Ingvardt himself was disapointed stating that he was in top-shape and ready to test himself.

DPBF chairman Jesper D. Jensen stated that the fight didnt have any value in a sporting sense and that Ingvardt only was going to Germany to lose.

Kudos to DPBF. Great they showed some balls. Denmark is not the Philipines. Thank God.

I see that Dettweiler is instead fighting againt someone with a losing record.

It's bad, but I don't think this match-up is much worse than what can be seen in the UK on a regular basis.

Someone called Daniel Peret who has a 12-13 (3KO) record.

According to boxrec he is 34 and he went 8 rounds only a week ago. 7 days isn't enough time to recover, let's hope the guy doesn't get hurt.

Thats sick. Thanks for the info.

The germans cannot have much hope in Dettweiler matching him so poor.
