I thought his last fight against Ruiz was close to a U pickem...Guzman looked very good in that fight and it was the type of fight where I think most top contenders are thinking they should stear clear of Joan.

That is a mismatch in my opinion, Guzman would box Valero's ears off.

Seriously......I'd love to see Guzman-Marquez.

Dont think he will be able to make 130lbs much longer, I believe he balloned up to about 144lbs fight time weight for his last two fights. He might be forced to go up to LW very soon. I would like to see him in there with Katsidis, Nate, Casa, Juan.....it could be a good move for im in terms of money fights IF he can't get Marquez at SFW.

Guzman didn't do himself any favors being cute on his last HBO show.
He is a really slick boxer but he hasn't created the buzz he should because of his relative inactivity and lack of knockouts in his 6-7 fights.
He called out Pac, but didn't Arum say something about him not being fan friendly? Don't know if he was disgusted with this peformance or that he's a bad match up for Pac.

He's gotta stay more active and get tv dates anywhere, because he's kind of forgotten right now.

Everybody ducks him. He's not well known, so he will not bring much to the table.....and he's likely to beat most. Too dangerous at this point for the likes of Marquez etc....until a big name with balls steps to him.

Guzman against Valero or JMM would be good but I think Dinamita would beat him. He'd punk Valero though. After Soto v Fana maybe Soto will want a rematch for unification and Guzman can get another belt.

How comes joan guzmon hasnt fought any gd compition at the moment? i think he should step his game up he should try to unify the belts.
What is he doing at the moment? i havent heard anything about this guy at all and maybe he should try fighting jmm.
