Taylor and Wright offer nothing to Calzaghe to be honest, they would have a few years ago. Pavlik had the better of Taylor twice so he would be a better choice and Hopkins had the better of Wright.

If Calzaghe fights Roy Jones people will just go on about his age like with Hopkins, so i'd say the best options are Pavlik or Woods.

I don't see Pavlik travelling to the UK and he's going to want his last fight to be in the place where he built a legacy and he can fill a 50,000 seater arena full of his fans. So Woods is probably the best option.

Yeah thats why I thought Pavlik might be the next fight for Joe. Have one last big american fight/payday before for heading home for the final fight.

If Joe C wins against Hopkins he could fight Woods or the winner of Dawson v Johnson but I'd definitely rather see him against Pavlik if kelly don't fight Winky or AA.

i think calzaghe just wants to finish off wth a fight in Wales, i an see him havin having 2 more fights but thats it.

Joe saying he will retire after 2 fights isn't saying much, I think he will be fighting for the next 2 years if the big fights keep coming.

Like he has said, he needs the motivation to train, so if the BIG fights materialise (Pavlik, Jones) , he may well hang on for another fight, he did say another 2 to 3 on several occasions.

Personally, I'd like to see him fight Chad Dawson, I think that would be a great fight.
