While he would lose the speed and agility advantage he had in the heavyweight ranks, he will gain that back in the power department. I never really felt like he fit in with the other heavyweights. Perhaps he'll do better at Light Heavy. Although if he loses at 175, it may be time hang em' up. He's probably got a good pile of money to retire on.

Asian you really think a 40 year old Byrd can move over 35 lbs south of the border and be successful? He'd probably have to get a spot on the Biggest Loser just to make weight!Comment

Perceptions change once a guy gets beat, then every excuse from he was shot to he was weight-drained come into play. I hear Byrd is coming back but not sure when or against who.Comment
