I agree. If Byrd was going to do this, it should have been five years ago. Of course I'm not talking about money since Chris has made millions. I just doubt that his reflexes will be sharp enough and he doesn't have the power to bail him out of a fight if he falls behind.

Byrd should have been at this weight in the first place he went to the Olympics at middleweight, He could have moved up to heavyweight latter in his career.

Would like to see Byrd at Light-Heavy first before making any judgements.

Against Povetkin, he still seemed to have most of his handspeed, but his legs looked shot.

If he can adjust to the weight without any problems, think he could still be a major force in the division, even with not so good legs.

Byrd is such a smart fighter, & he should actually have the power at Light-Heavy to keep opponents off of him without the need for moving around too much.

It depends on how much he has left, I think he can do good at 175, he should have better power there and his speed should be OK and we all know the man can take a very good punch.

Whatever speed and agility advantages he had at heavy will be gone down at light-heavy.

well he would need to hang them up cause he is already past his prime but I am curious to see how he does.
